I have strange problem with all 81.xx Beta drivers. After I installed these driver, my desktop goes strange looking. Please see my attached screenshot. I have GeForce 6800 (16p/6v) 358/770MHz AGP. Any Idea?

It's a nightmare just trying to get them installed, I had to modify the ".ini" file for the drivers to accept my card...

There has been a lot of problems regarding the 81.xx drivers, others can install with no probs, other people have colors changed, and not matter what you do, they always default to the poor color correction after rebooting...

I am sorry but can't see any of the GeForce 6 series GPU'or GeForce 7's in there... But that's not the point, maybe they didn't list them but the ".ini" files have a whole list of supported cards, I had to modify it to accept mine and then found it didn't work at all anyway, back to the 78.xx drivers for me as this is the most I have been able to goto...

GeForce 6 and 7 series are supported, the driver is made more for them. I have an ASUS N6600 (non GT AGP) 128MB and I got no problem with 81.84 and 81.85. I've gain performance so much... My friend did it with his GeForce 6800 Ultra AGP and he gets about 200 points more in 3DMark05...

And if you read the file it says better support for 2 different maks of cards in SLI and bridgeless cards in SLI. If my memory serves right SLI came out on the GeForce 6 series. Not string to be rude. I hope some of you can get em to work, they are really nice and fast... I had to force Windows to use the drivers, as it wouldn't reconize my card...

With 8x.xx drivers Need for Speed Underground 2 locks up, solid go back to 7x.xx drivers no problem also with 8x.xx drivers Luna, the NVIDIA demo behaves funny she turns totally black when the green worm comes around, still see her eyes. Not with the older drivers and didn't see anything in the release notes, maybe still need some fixes. Haven't tried the newest one yet.
