I wanted the ASUS P4GD1 because it supports the ASUS ct-479 so I could keep my Pentium M too. But if I were to get an AMD Athlon 64 motherboard it would be an ASUS A8N-SLI with the heat pipe cooler.
As I know, some hardware won't have the same effect on certain motherboard. Example: 4x 512MB of OCZ Platinum, will run fine, and 4x 512MB of Mushkin Redline, won't let you boot. It's maybe the same thing for VGA card!
Yeps maybe...that's the only explaination so far, incompatible PC configuration...
