Re:Looking for site feedback, provide your ideas and comments!? - 2005/05/18 12:06I really just want to thank you for providing a great site with tons of very usefull information. I am pretty much a noob on all this stuff and I have learned a great deal by just taking the time to read the forums and all the extra's you have posted here. I know a lot of effort goes into maintaining this site and I want to give a sincere thanks to everyone involved for doing an outstanding job. I don't know how often you are actually told thank you, so thank you!

Re:Looking for site feedback, provide your ideas and comments!? - 2005/05/18 12:28Mavke, I found out about this site from another site. They gave this site rave reviews, I think most folks really do appreciate it, they just sometimes don't realize that it does take a lot of time and effort to maintain a site like this.

So for now they stay disabled until I see a good reason to somehow block certain stuff and see the need to have em. But your point is taken and put on the list of things we might take up again...

Re:Looking for site feedback, provide your ideas and comments!? - 2005/11/23 17:51Hey Mavke, I would like to give you comment, and idea about the website. You should sort the drivers from new to older one. This would be easier to find them. I would say too, but maybe this is a bit longer, to sort BIOS into two sections, AGP and PCI Express. Again it would be easier for people. That's all I have to say. The website is very nice. Nice design, and its easy to use. Great job!

Re:Looking for site feedback, provide your ideas and comments!? - 2005/12/22 14:02Thanks for the feedback, and you know I have been thinking about that as well, but currently I can't make that change. But I will certainly check it out. For the future...

But they come basically from the community. So this is to invite you all to provide some ideas, feedback, comments, whatever on the website. I would like to tell you about the flashing guide, there is something to add. Some cards have protection and nvFlash don't say if it is locked, it just gives an error message. If my English looks not good, I am sorry because I am French.

Re:Looking for site feedback, provide your ideas and comments!? - 2006/03/30 11:31When a site has great content, people will put up with a lot of design and/or layout problems and issues. In my opinion that's a bit the case here. There's tons of valuable info here with the BIOS downloads, modifications and support through the forums. However I think that a nice Invision or phpBB free forum software board will increase the forum activity tenfold. Why, well the layout uses full screen, it has familiar forums design, so visitor will know it more instinctivly and it has better support and/or features.
Site wise I would consider increasing the overall font size by two, it's really too small to comfortably read, even at 1024x768 resolution. But seeing as this is a hardware enthusiast site most people will be running higher resolutions so it's really hard to read. Content on the site is really good but the forums needs to be looked at.

Re:Looking for site feedback, provide your ideas and comments!? - 2006/03/30 12:10Thanks mate! Very decent and valuable feedback. On the forums I have been looking at it but that means a full database conversion so I am finding out if there are some easy ways to go for that. But indeed it would be better to have a full blown forums. On the fonts size I am looking as well but the one thing that I seems to miss is that when comparing to other sites like HardOCP and I don't see much difference. Can someone shed some light? Or is it just me?
