Re:Looking for site feedback, provide your ideas and comments!? - 2004/11/05 14:18Just a bit of feedback. For some reason, during the past few days, sometimes when I enter the forum new posts aren't flagged as they used to always be with the red exclamation point. I don't know if it's something with my cookies or what? Why is this site's time 14 hours ahead of mine? Are you in Siberia or in that area?
Sorry, but one more thing. The text formatting doesn't seem to work and the emotion icons have to by manually typed in, am I doing something wrong or is this just the way it is? Just wondering cause it is a bit different as from other forums I am used to post on.

Re:Looking for site feedback, provide your ideas and comments!? - 2004/11/06 00:34Well that is indeed strange but for me it is working okay. Maybe some issue with your cookies. Yeah that I need to look at as well cause this is not my doing, so I will check the Linux operating system and the setup of the site. Normally it should be or US timing or Belgium timing.
Text formatting? What do you mean? For me all works. And also the emotion icons, I can just click on them and they get added in my post. So I guess there is some problem at your end. Maybe linked to Norton internet security as that is known to often not show certain aspect of some sites?

Re:Looking for site feedback, provide your ideas and comments!? - 2004/11/06 01:49I guess I'll try deleting my cookies for your site and re-logging in. Well, you're right Mavke, the Nortin internet security popup stopper was keeping the emotion icons and text formatting from working. Looks like I'll have to keep ad-blocking off for your site. Oh well, at least you have ads for good stuff.

Re:Looking for site feedback, provide your ideas and comments!? - 2004/11/11 06:10The RSS thing in the forums doesn't work. When I press the button some kind of script is displayed on my browser. Is that normal, cause it shouldn't really do that. So you might need to take a look into that also and see what is going on.

Re:Looking for site feedback, provide your ideas and comments!? - 2004/11/13 14:50Hi there, I found your message board through a magazine, named Computer Shopper in the UK, which talked about overclocking GeForce graphics card in an old issue. And hey, so that's why I'm here. I've read the comments about the forums layout and in my opinion it works, I've setup forums using PHPNuke and this looks better to me. I don't know to much about Linux but the uptime window looks good, some times I visit crash frequently especially using Windows 2003 Server. Anyway, keep up the good work!
By the way, I've never used this forum creating software before so does it give you a control panel which allows you to create modules. You could then in fact have RSS feeds from other sites here or even links to online radio. That could be a cool addition to the site as well with auto inserting from other sites feeds?

Re:Looking for site feedback, provide your ideas and comments!? - 2004/11/16 10:16Under main menu you might add an item on how to? The flashing and backup guides could go there and not get lost with the other things in the articles. Or you could create just a section for all kind of guides. Just an idea to make it better.

Re:Looking for site feedback, provide your ideas and comments!? - 2004/11/24 22:17I have to say the site is a little bit hard to read. I think three column is a little too big or the fonts is a little too big. That's why it's taking so much spaces with just a little characters. Maybe you could make just two columns or make the fonts on the side panels a little smaller?

As well this is the first time I get this comment, and I would like to see how it looks like for you. Then I can start working on it to improve

Re:Looking for site feedback, provide your ideas and comments!? - 2004/11/24 23:04Well, I am using Internet Explorer 6 and my screen is 17" with 1024x786 resolution. Well, I usually set my browser to the largest fonts, you know under Internet Explorer, the largest text.

Re:Looking for site feedback, provide your ideas and comments!? - 2004/12/21 11:21Hiya, I don't know if this is the right place for it, but here it goes. Wouldn't it be a great idea to make a new topic under the general section where people could post about cooling methods for their graphics cards? I'm quite interested to hear what people have to say about overclock ability in different cooling situations. Thanks.
