ok heres what ive done so far i picked up the softmod catalyst 5.5 drivers to unlock the other 4 pipelines, but cant figure out if that worked or not, it said after restart that it would run tests, and all i saw after it restarted was the screen go black for a quick second, i cant find any options to overclock all cept for the options that i have in atitool
I picked up a coolermaster vga cooler/heatpipe and so far have been able to overclock the core from 250 to 400 so overall clock speed of 800 ver the original 500, and the memory i have only gotten to clock up to 220Mhz from 200, now if i buy ram sinks for the memory would i then be able to clock that to a faster speed or am i pretty much stuck with what i have right now.
I did like the 6000 point boost in aquamark 2 tho original avg was at 17000 and now when i overclock it hits around 2300
System Specs so far are as follows:
AMD XP2600+ at 2.3GHz (200X11.5) With 80mm Vantec Tornado ~80CFM
Rigged onto a Aluminum AMD Heatsink Running at 40C Full Load
MSI KT880
Kingston ValuRam PC333 512MB
Maxtor 120GB Hard Drive
Ati Powercolor GameFX 9550 256MB 128Bit
System Fans are also Vantec Tornado 80mm
One on side aligned with processor fan pulling cold air directly to the proc
One on top of case pulling hot air out of the system
Shes a noisy lil one when i got everything blowing full blast but the temps are nice
Anyone have any ideas that may help me make this system run faster feel free to let me know in pm
