GeCube Radeon 9600 PRO 256MB; display problem, help! - 2005/06/03 15:59 Hi guys, I own a Gecube Radeon 9600 PRO 256MB. Before I was using CRT and just recently I use a LCD. The LCD plug is VGA not DVI. I noticed the problem when I still using the CRT. At the BIOS screen the page is a bit squashed to the centre and the fonts are smaller than the second page which is the devices listed with IRQ stuff, also the Windows XPp logo is small and squashed in the middle.

Now when I changed to LCD everytime at the squashed page which is the BIOS and Windows XP logo the LCD blank and flickers. The only normal page is the devices listed with IRQ page only and when it goes to the desktop everything is fine. I also noticed at the ATI control panel in displays section the power button for TV out is red and I also can enable it even when the cable is not plugged. Isn't it supposed to be grey like the other two? I noticed the squashed page occurs when the TV out problem appear.

So guys can you give me help how to fix my problem? Because I'm so frustrated looking at my blank flickering display everytime I turned it on and restart it.

Re:GeCube Radeon 9600 PRO 256MB; display problem, help! - 2005/06/03 16:27 Is it a 15" display or 17" or what? You can try to go back to your CRT and set refresh rate to 60Hz and then plug in your LCD, also set to 1024x768 pixel.
