Re:PowerColor 9800SE BIOS (urgently needed) - 2005/06/03 08:11 Well I was thinking the same thing. I think that the speeds you mention are valid on the Radeon 9800 but they are not for the 9800SE. So what I will do is check those BIOS's and get them as well to you.

Re:PowerColor 9800SE BIOS (urgently needed) - 2005/06/08 06:10 Thanks, the Samsung 128MB BIOS works a bit better than the Hynix one I was using, though the final verdict rests upon the smell of burning electronic pieces...

Oh well, the 6800's are already going below $190 new, so I'll be waiting for the higher-end models to follow before making a decision on when to really fix the problem, which for now only consists of minor visual anomalies.

Re:PowerColor 9800SE BIOS (urgently needed) - 2005/06/08 10:31 Yeah it is a pitty you lost your BIOS as it is one that we don't have so it would have been nice to be to have it... Yeah maybe just wait till the new NVIDIA/ATI cards get introduced and then the price will go down for the others.
