So that is a PCI-E card with 256MB memory, right? Cause it is not mentioned so I just want to make sure...

Yes it is PCIe. The cards came out of HP XW6200 workstations. The timings are a little slower than in the original NVIDIA BIOS. The cards have 256MB and are built upon the reference PCB. Even the heatsink and cooling is the same as on the 6800GTs.

But they don't work in SLI yet. I have no clue why, but I can't get them to work in SLI.

Well you should contact HP and raise this. I have done that once already for ProLink and they then send you an updated BIOS who supports SLI. So I would strongly advice you to do that and raise this issue so HP can offer you an updated BIOS that support SLI.
