Submit your Original BIOS... - 2004/09/02 05:00 I would like that everyone owning a Radeon 9xxx Series and up, uploads or sends me at least his Original BIOS of the Card. That way the Archive can be expanded more and some further development can be done. Secondly that way we still have a copy of your BIOS if you had a bad Flash

Well you will say how do I make a Backup of my BIOS?
>Backup with ATIFlash (ATI Tool) - ATIFlash v1.16
a:atiflash -s 0 backup.rom [Enter]

>Backup with FlashROM (ATI Tool) - FlashROM v2.37 or v2.40
a:flashrom.exe -s 0 backup.rom [Enter]

Another way, which is more simple, is using the ATITool program. This can be used in Windows to make a Backup of your Original BIOS.

>Backup with ATITool (Coded by W1zzard) - ATITool v0.0.22
- Launch ATITool
- Use "dump bios" Function and dump the BIOS to backup.rom

When you have the "backup.rom" you can upload it on the site or send it to me via mail (mavke@mvktech.net), make sure you mention :
- Brand of the Card
- Type of the Card
- Amount of Memory on the Card
- Memory Brand (if possible)

Well that should be it...

Re:Submit your Original BIOS... - 2004/09/03 00:45 What happened to all the BIOSes for ATI from the previous site?

Re:Submit your Original BIOS... - 2004/09/03 02:12 Good question!
Everyone is wondering that hehe, well this is a new Server and a new Content Management Suite that I used... So I need to add them again to the download section. And well that is done one by one and if you would see how much I need to add... around 500-600 BIOS Files. But it is coming...

Re:Submit your Original BIOS... - 2004/09/05 04:19 Do you still have the old home page with all the ATI BIOS files. Because if you do, can't you upload the old one to another adress so we can download them from there. Or maybe a temporary ftp site.

Any way is just fine and it shouldn't be to much trouble.

Re:Submit your Original BIOS... - 2004/09/05 05:41 Well that is a good idea, but since it was a Shared Hosting box and the Hosting Provider was very had in support, they haven't given me the Link to the old site via the IP addy.
Which BIOS are you looking for? Then I will add em first...

Re:Submit your Original BIOS... - 2004/09/05 11:07 There, it's uploaded but I have no idea what kind of ram I have if it's Hynix or Samsung.

The XT BIOS files worked fine but I had to force them to install.
