Re:Site feedback... Just provide your ideas... - 2004/11/05 14:18 Just a bit of feedback... For some reason, during the past few days, sometimes when I enter the forum new posts aren't flagged as they used to always be with the red exclamation point. I don't know if it's something with my cookies or what? Why is this site's time 14 hours ahead of mine? Are you in Siberia or in that area?

Sorry, but one more thing. The text formatting doesn't seem to work and the emoticons have to by manually typed in, am I doing something wrong or is this just the way it is?

Re:Site feedback... Just provide your ideas... - 2004/11/06 00:34 Well that is indeed strange but for me it is working okay... Maybe some issue with your cookies. Yeah that I need to look at as well cause this is not my doing, so I will check the Linux OS and the setup of the site... Normally it should be or US timing or Belgium timing.

Text formatting? What do you mean? For me all works... And also the emotions, I can just click on them and they get added in my post. So I guess there is some problem at your end... Maybe linked to Norton Internet Security?

Re:Site feedback... Just provide your ideas... - 2004/11/06 01:49 I guess I'll try deleting my cookie for your site and re-logging in. Well, you're right Mavke, the NIS popup stopper was keeping the emoticons and text formatting from working. Looks like I'll have to keep ad-blocking off for your site. Oh well, at least you have ads for good stuff.

Re:Site feedback.. ideas... - 2004/11/11 06:10 The RSS thing in the forums doesn't work. When I press the button some kind of script is displayed on my browser.

Re:Site feedback.. ideas... - 2004/11/13 14:50 Hi there

I found your message board through a magazine in the UK, which talked about overclocking GeForce graphics card (Computer Shopper www.computershopper.co.uk) in an old issue............hey so that's why I'm here.

I've read the comments about the forum layout and in my opinion it works, I've set up forums using PHPNuke and this looks better to me. I don't know to much about Linux but the uptime window looks good, some times I visit crash frequently especially using Windows 2003 Server.

Anyway, keep up the good work!!!

chrome

BTW I've never used this forum creating software before does give you a control panel which allows you to create modules... You could then in fact have RSS feeds from other sites here or even links to online radio.

Re:Site feedback.. ideas... - 2004/11/16 10:16 Under Main Menu you might add an item "How To...". The Flashing and Backup Guides could go there and not get lost in the other things in Articles.

Re:Site feedback.. ideas... - 2004/11/24 22:17 I have to say the site is a little bit hard to read. I think 3 column is a little too big or the fonts is a little too big. That's why it's taking so much spaces with just a little characters. Maybe you could make just 2 columns or make the fonts on the side panels a little smaller...

Can you let me know which browser you are using? And at what resolution? As well this is the first time I get this comment, and I would like to see how it looks like for you... Then I can start working on it to improve

Re:Site feedback... Just provide your ideas... - 2004/11/24 23:04 Well, I am using IE 6 and my screen is 17" with 1024x786. Well, I usually set my browser to the largest fonts (you know under IE, the largest text).

Re:Site feedback... Just provide your ideas... - 2004/12/21 11:21 Hiya, I don't know if this is the right place for it, but here it goes... Wouldn't it be a great idea to make a new topic under the General forum where people could post about cooling methods for their graphics cards? I'm quite interested to hear what people have to say about overclock ability in different cooling situations. Thanks.
