Re:Sapphire Radeon HD 4870 with 1GB, and red flickering pixels? - 2008/12/29 19:29 After about one month I saw red pixels again, but only on a webpage. After that it was gone again, very strange really.

Re:Sapphire Radeon HD 4870 with 1GB, and red flickering pixels? - 2008/12/29 19:32 Well mate, I have to say it my Radeon HD 4850 does that when the background is black. Than you can see a red pixels, but if else nothing visual really as such. So yes very strange indeed.

Re:Sapphire Radeon HD 4870 with 1GB, and red flickering pixels? - 2009/05/28 13:42 I have a Sapphire Radeon HD 4830 and I see red pixelation when I push the memory clocks too far so my guess it is a memory issue maybe with timings even. Especially with different BIOS flashed to the graphics card.

Re:Sapphire Radeon HD 4870 with 1GB, and red flickering pixels? - 2009/05/28 19:19 When you see pixels when pushing the memory clock, it means you are pushing the memory too far really, so you should really try to avoid that as this is actually causing permanent damage to the memory chips if set too long at those speeds.
