Gecube Radeon 9600 XT (C3) redraw problem... - 2005/09/07 08:30 Hi all...

I got some problem with my Gecube Radeon 9600 XT (GC-R96XTG-C3) 128MB Samsung, when I move the mouse cursor in (black desktop), there is vertical line (blue) staying, if refreshed the line is gone, but this problem is never gone. Maybe the problem is redraw underlying areas of the screen incorrectly when move cursor. So...how to solve or repair this problem?

Give some solutions please...
Thanks!

Re:Gecube Radeon 9600 XT (C3) redraw problem... - 2005/09/07 22:16 Mmmm, this I didn't see yet...so I have no clue what it could be exactly. But is this is a new card? Or an older card that is just now having these issues?

Re:Gecube Radeon 9600 XT (C3) redraw problem... - 2005/09/08 12:49 I bought the card 2 years ago, the problem came since 2 mounth ago. I try to flashing new BIOS but if I flash with different version, system can't boot (blank screen) and I go back with original version, system can boot, but the problem is never gone.

Re:Gecube Radeon 9600 XT (C3) redraw problem... - 2005/09/08 14:56 Well then I guess there is not much we can do as something will be permanently damaged due to the bad flash you had. That is basically why we always warn concerning this... Flashing a VGA card is not like a mainboard! It is more risky and when it fails something can be really damaged... Try to get an RMA for your card, nothing more you can do I think...

The only thing what maybe could be done is first erase the BIOS, and then flash it again with the Original BIOS. However I don't know if this can be done on an ATI card, on NVIDIA this sometimes works.
