Conflicting memory timings - 2005/09/03 23:53 I have a VisionTek Radeon X800XT I have modded to PE via pencil mod and BIOS flash. Here is the thing, ATITool has memory timings set to different numbers than what RivaTuner shows. I do have the Samsung GC16 chips. I have been able to run 565/565MHz stable but that memory speed isn't up to par to what others can get from this card. I am watercooling the card to. Is this normal or should I set ATITool to what RivaTuner has? Do I need to post the differences? Do I need to just experiment one at a time with them? Thanks...

Re:Conflicting memory timings - 2005/09/05 09:16 Well normally you have to check and find out, playing with the timings to find the sweetspot of the card... Not all cards will work best with the same timings, but it should always be in the same settings or around it.
