Help with weird x800 - 2005/06/19 08:51 hey guys i just bought a asus eax800/td/128m/a

why is it weird, well it has gddr3 ram 2.0ns but it only has 128bits, i searched on samsungs web and the rams are gddr3 256bits, any way i could make it 256bits?? ill teake a look tomorrow to the core to see if it is r430.

update:

Its really weird it doesnt even exist on asus.com but if i search on google all 128mb verions with same model code are 256bits, i just took the heatsink off and its a r430 core just like the x800xl i've found in the web (no fisical diference)

maybe is a bios limitation??

Re:Help with weird x800 - 2005/06/19 11:48 does riva-tuner also say that the memory bus is 128bit in the subsystem report? if it does there isnt anything you can do about it, 128bit memory cannot become 256bit (that i know of)

and i checked on samsungs web site and its supposed to be gddr3 256bits mem
