RivaTuner v2.0 RC 15.8 won't overclock - 2006/04/24 15:31 I have a XFX 7900GTX Extreme Card running Forceware 84.43, and RivaTuner v2.0 RC 15.8 won't let me overclock my card.. I keep getting and error
"RivaTuner hasn't been tested with your current drivers. It is strongly reccomened that you upgrade RivaTuner to a newer version otherwise it my not work properly"....

This is the latest version and I really wanted to overclock my card, just to see what it could do..
The coolbits overclock does that stupid test, and was reccomened to use RivaTuner to bypass that..I don't even get the option to overclock at all..

Anyone got any ideas..

I know the coder is working on it and some have already done some beta testing. To overclock you card some can modify the ".ini" files of RivaTuner but that is not ideal. I would currently use PowerStrip until the new version of RivaTuner is available to all.

My stepup to the Evga 7900 GTX superclock went from # 20 to" its ready"in no time flat , so i guess these cards are starting to show in more numbers , this is good news,to busy working to do it now so a couple of weeks, heehaw!
