Uploading Tips .... - 2006/02/27 22:04
This is a common error amoungst everyone here at Mvktech .. when we have a bios that needs to be modded or fixed we try to upload it with the name Backup.rom and it fails to upload . Reason for this is because the upload servers cant tell the difference from a 6800 bios named backup.rom to a 7800 bios named backup.rom , to the server it is one and the same so it wont upload ... so a suggestion for those who need bios's modded or fixed up please just name the bios to your user name for instance my name is Raptor and i have a 6800 bios that needs to mooded or fixed and backup.rom wont upload to the servers so i would change the bios's name to Raptor.rom so it will upload ..... now if i still have issues uploading i simply rename the bios to a different varient ie. Raptor12.rom ... changing the file format to a .txt does make it a lil harder for the ones helping you out .....
