Also one thing that really does improve the performance in Windows 7 is to change the operation mode from balanced to performance, but to manually adapt the LCD display intensivity. Meaning to lower it as this is a LED based LCD display which are quite bright, or enough so you can really lower it without much loss. And the performance mode does improve the overall operation speed.
