Sound problem...with Sound Blaster Audity 2... - 2006/03/03 05:26 I have a Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Value, and it runs perfectly except some problem in 2 games: Battlefield 2 and Far Cry. In Battlefield 2, I have like some noise like harmonics, and in Far Cry (in the menu), the it's almost the same thing in Battlefield 2. I had no problem with Battlefield 2 till I have installed my second 2x 512MB. Anyone got an issue? I have the new driver for my sound card, but same problem!

Re:Sound problem...with Sound Blaster Audity 2... - 2006/03/03 10:16 Can you describe the harmonics? Is it a high pitched hum? Have you tried changing the ram around or removing the new 2x 512MB ram?

Re:Sound problem...with Sound Blaster Audity 2... - 2006/03/03 15:57 Well it's hard to describe, but it's a little noise with distorsion, like if you hear sound that you should not supposed from the hardware lol... I didn't try to move the ram, and didn't take off the new 2x 512MB, cause Battlefield 2 is the only game that have this problem (Far Cry was already doing it, but only in the menu, in the game, it's alright). I'm gonna try to move the ram... Anyway I'm gonna have to format... So I'll see what's going on with that. I'll keep you on news...
