NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor) v3.2 Software Feedback... - 2007/01/19 19:23 Here we go, a new version is again available. Thanks to at all the G80 based BIOS's and xtremetheme for the new update with some updates and fixes. As well as some extra support and new features... Some nice updates are available that have been requested! And we have been able to add the lovely support for the memory timings for the GeForce 8800 series graphics cards...

I disable scaling using the non-native panel control setting and then I like setting my boot screen to 640x480. Well ever since I got the GeForce 8800 GTX, the bootup display mode setting (allowing you to set the resolution at bootup) has been disabled and my boot screen is stretched horizontally. Any ideas why?

So we will see what we can do... But much depend as well on the BIOS's we receive and can test with.

Did you expand the full package? Meaning it comes with some extra files next to the application which should all be expanded in the same directory. If that is the case and it doesn't work, then Vista is working different then XP x64 and we will need a license of Vista x64 to add the right support...

Indeed that is right. So that means Vista is different and currently we don't have the required license to check this further... And Vista is expensive in Europe so if someone could somehow offer us a way to get Vista x86 (32-bit) and x64 (64-bit) that would be nice. Then we can see to get the Vista support added.

Well as the actual users will use the OEM/retail version, I would spend the time on that and not to any release candicate or beta version. Normally an OEM is sufficient as those are less expensive. But some visitors who own a computer shop should be able to offer something? At least for the OEM versions...
