NiBiTor v2.8 Feedback... - 2006/03/20 10:36 Here we go, a new version is again available. Thanks to xtremetheme for the new update with some big updates and several other fixes. As well as some extra support and new features... Some nice updates are available that have been requested!

This is being worked on but will take some more time as the logic has been changed and we currently didn't get this working yet on the GeForce 7600 and GeForce 7900 series. Now if you know the timings used on your card we would like to know what they are.

I just wanted to raise the voltage level of my XFX GeForce 7900 GT XT (core 520MHz and memory 750MHz) but it wasn't possible. Is this generally impossible for all GeForce 7900 GT's or will it be possible in a later version of NiBiTor?

We are still looking further to uncover somehow the voltages but as far as the voltage table was concerned this is what is available. On one GeForce 7900 GTX (1.4V) however we found that it had a completely different voltage then all others which was 1.45V. So there might be something to do about it but then it will come in a next version... So we will keep you posted. Currently we still need extra BIOS's to check out these potential features.

Is there a tool where I can check the Vcore of my graphics card. It’s because I found a bios on the web where the Vcore is according to NiBiTor 1,3 and not 1,2 but I don’t know if my XFX 7900 GT XT accepts it or is still running at 1,2 V. I send you this bios and perhaps you can say something about it.

That is not yet confirmed if it will ever be possible... Up to now it isn't possible yet as we have not yet the complete voltage table as far as we know. But we will check and see. If we can find out if there are other voltages then yes, these will certainly become available in a next version.

So you mean in the Vendor section? Cause that is normal... EVGA has no unique vendor code as far as we know. And we tool these vendor codes from the official page on the internet. But unknown or not that doesn't make any sence. But indeed on the Device ID I will check this out... Seems that gotten left out. I will put that on the todo.

you are doing a good job on here, which i used nibitor to do a bios mod on my previous 2 7800gt cards modding the volts to 1.5v , i now have 2 msi 7900gtx which i have posted the bios off to you previously, as my cards are watercooled i think they can handle extra volts no probs, i have checked in nibitor and mine are at 1.4v, they are 100% stable at 698/1772 as is, i'll keep an eye on the next nibitor to see if it will enable me to up the volts to 1.45
