Aeolus FX5900XT-DV128 - 2005/02/05 20:48 I have this graphic card. Details of this model...
AOpen Aeolus FX5900XT-DV128

Now, I overclocked with optimal frequencies detected by NVIDIA drivers, which are 429/790MHz. Default frequencies were 390/700MHz. I wounder If it could be possible to increase this frequencies a bit higher and exactly what numbers.

Also I would like to know if this model could be BIOS flashed with an Ultra version of the FX5900 series, and the steps to do this.

Excuse me if there are any post related to this, I tried to find them but nothing found. Also, sorry if my English is very poor, it's not my native language.

Disculpen si mi inglés es muy malo, lo tengo muy oxidado.
Thanks for reading this post.

P.S.: I'm a rookie in this things of overclocking a flashing a graphics card.

Re:Aeolus FX5900XT-DV128 - 2005/02/05 21:53 First of all welcome. And well I don't think there is any post really related to your card. But there are some in more global on how to overclock/flash a GeForce FX5900XT. As far as I can see from what you have tried you are already nicely clocked...

An FX5900 Ultra normally will clock at 450/950MHz and I don't think your card will be able to do it. Have you already tried RivaTuner or PowerStrip to overcock you card to the maximum? With the maximum I mean untill you get artifacts... Can you do so and let us know?

Can you also make a backup of your Original BIOS of your card?

And then once you have the backup you can send it to us!

Thanks...

Re:Aeolus FX5900XT-DV128 - 2005/02/05 22:55 I have a Leadtek Winfast A340 that is GeForce FX5900XT and flash it with modded BIOS edited using NiBiTor BIOS Editor from this website... Now I'm running my graphics card at 450/800MHz and no artifact so far...

Re:Aeolus FX5900XT-DV128 - 2005/02/06 00:10 Great, very nice. Could you also send in your Original BIOS from your Leadtek WinFast A340? I want to compare it with the ones we already have on our site...
