nvFlash: Mismatch in 256 byte page-mode programming? - 2005/02/04 07:08
Hi, I'm in email contact with a guy who accidently erased his BIOS. He can't register on the forums because mvktech mail is blocked by his email server or something...
He has an Asus GeForce 6800GT 256 MB and ereased his BIOS with nvFlash v5.12 and the "-e" option. He has a PCI card now but he can't flash his GeForce back, he gets an error while programming...
Clearing original firmware...
Storing updated firmware...
EEPROM programming failed
ERROR: Mismatch in 256 byte page-mode programming
He already tried...
"nvflash -p -u -f bios.rom" - nvFlash v4.42
"nvflash -4 -5 -6 bios.rom" - nvFlash v5.12 and with "-j" option.
Somebody has an idea to help this guy?
