Re:PNY 6800 Ultra BIOS problems - 2005/01/19 04:35 it's in the readme when you download nvflash 5.12

romstrap j Override the ROM strap setting to allow flashing an
image when grounding the STRAP_SUB_VENDOR pin.
This allows flashing a corrupted or erased EEPROM.
Note: Make sure there is a physical EEPROM present
when using this option

Re:PNY 6800 Ultra BIOS problems - 2005/01/19 05:55 I don't think my eeprom is corrupted or erased. I still have the original bios on the card and it will not take a new bios of any kind. I'm not exactly sure how to tell if there is a physical eeprom present. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Then try nvflash -4 -5 -6 filename.rom (where filename is 8 chars max and rom is rom)
