Leadtek 6800GT BIOS? - 2005/01/17 16:38 I have the 6800GT, and I wonder what BIOS can I flash on it to get better overclocking performance, should it be the Leadtek Ultra BIOS, or something else? The Leadtek Cooler is great and I would improve the cooling by adding additional fans, thanks! I can reach Ultra speeds by simply overclocking it, but the memory is 2.0ns!

Can I use the flash utility on Leatek's CD?

Re:Leadtek 6800GT BIOS? - 2005/01/18 06:29 Well if you use the Leadtek Ultra BIOS you wil get 0.1v extra for the GPU which means you will be able to clock it a bit higher generally. But the Ultra BIOS has timings that are not so good as the GT BIOS...

And yes you can use the Leadtek Flash utility (WFFlash), which is on the Leadtek CD.

Well flashing is up to you. You might gain some more speed... And if you can already run the Ultra speeds then it should work. But as always flashing you do at your own risk... Most GT's can run as an Ultra, but it can always happen some can't.
