Re:Inno3D GeForce GTS 250 Esave board with voltage increases? - 2010/03/12 21:18

Is there an alternative way to set the core voltage to 1.10V or even 1.15V, because in the voltage menu the maximum I can get is 1.05V. Sorry but first of all I would like to say that these Green editions or what Inno3D is calling Esave are actually cards that are in most cases based upon the older G92 chipset at 65nm and clocked down to make em green. Now these are the chips used on the old GeForce 8800 GT series and the maximum voltage they can be set through the BIOS is 1.10V and from checking your BIOS and clocks you can reach it is actually set at 1.10V already. So I believe that somehow the BIOS is not reflecting the right actual voltage, but only with a multimeter you can verify this.
Now why am I saying that? Well the voltage table editor is almost identical to the GeForce 8800 GT but one VID entry is skipped over and that impacts the actual voltage lable giving to these. And most GeForce 8800 GT's could reach between 750-775MHz when set at 1.10V and that is just what you are getting now and when you would add more voltage it would either have no impact or sometimes give you a 5MHz increase. So if my findings are correct this is a 65nm chip and getting those running a 768MHz is an excellent result for such a chip.
