Re:Inno3D GeForce 8500 GT and BIOS flash to better performance? - 2008/09/04 19:32 Okay, as we speak I'm doing it like they do it on the discovery channel. I post everything on my little i-mate SP5 phone. My PC does have internet security issues. But I got your BIOS thanks to Windows Mobile crap. So yeah in about 5min we shall know if I am nuts or broke for a while lol.

Re:Inno3D GeForce 8500 GT and BIOS flash to better performance? - 2008/09/04 19:44 Captain, captain the ship its not working. Lol got a slight problem. It won't flash, it tells me this warning unknown board ID. It is recommended you obtain a newer version of nvFlash. And then, error no NVIDIA display drivers found. I'm using nvFlash v5.13. Erm, what's this about?

Re:Inno3D GeForce 8500 GT and BIOS flash to better performance? - 2008/09/04 20:19 Lol, nevermind I have found the latest version and its flashed and got 1.38V. Yeah woohoo, now I'm sitting on these speeds 708/1220MHz and shaders at 1474MHz from the standard 600/1000MHz with 1250MHz shaders clock speed. I'm still playing around so yeah will go higher once I test more and stuff to see stability. Thanks dude you are the man and my new hero. There goes Bill Clinton out the window. Lol, just kidding.

Re:Inno3D GeForce 8500 GT and BIOS flash to better performance? - 2008/09/04 21:58 Lol, sleep for a bit, works right on. You compare me to Bill Clinton lol, he gets way more head. Those very high clocks you are achieving, awesome but watch closely for artifacts and or other errors, instability, etc.

Re:Inno3D GeForce 8500 GT and BIOS flash to better performance? - 2008/09/04 23:46 Okay, this are my final results after sitting testing and playing games. Games used for testing were Race Driver GRID, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2, TrackMania Forever, Need for Speed Pro Street and Battlefield 2. I noticed I was gettin major artifacting so now I had to drop my memory speed down. Not cool but I can live with it. The final results that are stable is 729/1100MHz and shaders at 1518MHz. This is completely stable under games and benchmarking programs.

Mohaha its alive. Lol funny thing is I know I'm not gona get wow frame rates but now I'm seeing 5 to 15 more frames on games which is awesome, as it is a GeForce 8500 GT after all. Thanks for all the wicked help. I will definately pop in to say whats up. If ever you are in South Africa call me, I take you for a major party. Lol.

Re:Inno3D GeForce 8500 GT and BIOS flash to better performance? - 2008/09/05 02:22 Lol, you are most welcome. Thanks for the kind words mate, I live in Western Canada so South Africa is a long trip. But I like to party so, who knows. And if it wasn't for Mavke and his site here, we all be watching slideshows. So stay in the know, read some reviews, browse the adds, check out the etailers deals. Hope I see you here from time to time. I come and go also, have job sometimes when I feel like it.

We do accept small donations for supporting the programs we used today, if ever you feel the urge to spend the extra dollar, I've found is well worth it...no obligation.

Re:Inno3D GeForce 8500 GT and BIOS flash to better performance? - 2008/09/09 22:47 Hey there. Sorry for late reply. In between my lectures and partying like insane I have had little time for anything let alone my PC. You like in Canada, nice nice. Well you can never say who knows you might end up here in South Africa. If you do my offer will never expire. I will have to save up to make a donation. Hope you keep well and out of trouble lol. Man I need sleep and the other thing that comes naturally between a man and women. Shagadelic baby yeah, lol.
