Radeon HD 4870, on its way and BIOS will be shared soon! - 2008/06/25 22:01 Hi folks and especially Mavke, I have just ordered last VisionTek Radeon HD 4870 having 512MB of GDDR5 memory. Should get it soon, then I'll submit BIOS right away, 'cause the memory in that thing has a lot of headroom. These chips should be hitting 5GHz with right voltage and cooling. Thermalright HR-03 GT fits these guys quite well and temps drop by almost 40°C under load!

And yes the Radeon HD 4xx0 have now started and we will also need to dig a bit into that... Becoming quite a lot to keep it all under control.
