Re:Modify voltage of Radeon HD 2600 XT, done voltage tweaks? - 2007/12/03 21:14 Thanks for the update and the BIOS's mate, glad you got it sorted. Now I just hope that Siggi can put all his findings and knowledge about BIOS modding into a program so that anyone can in an easy fashion start tweaking their BIOS.

Re:Modify voltage of Radeon HD 2600 XT, done voltage tweaks? - 2007/12/06 13:30 Just wondering, did any XpertVision Radeon HD 2600 XT user tried this BIOS out? I change my graphics card from a Radeon HD 2600 PRO to a Radeon HD 2600 XT.

There's no problem to use other vendors BIOS except that you must use the "-f" option in order to flash it successfully. But first make a copy of your BIOS to self recovery disk! I'm not responsible if you get your card to non working state. You can make things wrong or the card maybe cannot hold that higher frequencies or the voltage may be too higher for you or something else. Use on own risk.

Meaning actually we are not responsible... Flashing is always done at your own risk, we can only advise on the possible things but even a normal BIOS update of a graphics card can go bad as it is not as easy as with a mainboard. So at all time you do this at your own risk.

Re:Modify voltage of Radeon HD 2600 XT, done voltage tweaks? - 2007/12/19 13:34 I just tried to flash it but the BIOS is not detected as the Radeon HD 2600 XT BIOS, same as my bad modification of BIOS. Flashing BIOS become no hardware ID...

Re:Modify voltage of Radeon HD 2600 XT, done voltage tweaks? - 2007/12/25 17:26 Fix from the modification by eDaniel, now the voltage is set at 1.35V with the core running at 850MHz and the memory all the way up to 1900MHz. Known to work with my XpertVision Radeon HD 2600 XTand the torture test pass. Make sure the GPU capable to do 850MHz and memory to 1900MHz before you gonna flash...
