Re:NVIDIA ForceWare v81.94 32bit and 64bit... - 2005/11/14 21:46 Unfortunately I am working 450miles away from my computer, boo hoo, so won't be able to test any of these till Christmas, bummer, heyho at least I have oodles of bioses to play with and problems to sort.

I have not tried any 64-bit drivers out on my system, can anyone give me a rough idea of any performance change from the 32-bit versions? I am just wondering whether its worth going to a complete 64-bit operating system yet.

Many thanks,
Jutt

Re:NVIDIA ForceWare v81.94 32bit and 64bit... - 2005/11/14 22:52 I am going to test out these driver on my ASUS N6600 AGP. I'll let you know to see the improvement they say into Quake 4.

Re:NVIDIA ForceWare v81.94 32bit and 64bit... - 2005/11/14 23:20 Well I tested new drivers on Quake 4. And my results is...very nice. Sometimes when I was opening a door, there was like a quick moment of loading, and now, no more. I stand to 50-61fps most of the time. And more, I had bug with my OpenGL. Now I opened Quake 4 around 10 times, and no more bug. Thanks NVIDIA for good drivers again.

Re:NVIDIA ForceWare v81.94 32bit and 64bit... - 2005/11/14 23:33 Have you tried the Luna demo just wondering if you get any abnormal issues such as with lighting and shading? I wouldn't bother asking but I get the same issue with both the GeForce 6600 and GeForce 6800 GT cards.

Re:NVIDIA ForceWare v81.94 32bit and 64bit... - 2005/11/15 03:02 I installed these last night. So far, so good. Will run some benchmarks to see if performance remains the same as prior releases.

Re:NVIDIA ForceWare v81.94 32bit and 64bit... - 2005/11/15 03:43 And thats through to the end of the loop cause the only thing I got was when that green eel comes around she turns black. Hmmm. guess I'll try chipset drivers again.

Reinstalled the newest chipset driver uninstalled the ForceWare 81.85 drivers installed the ForceWare 81.94 driver same thing Luna turns this fuzzy black except hair, eyes and surroundings. Can't figure it must be a BFG card thing but I ain't going to waste any more posts on it either use older drivers or she'll have to go. Lol, hope it doesn't affect any other applications.

Took a small performance hit with the ForceWare 81.94 drivers 5404 in 3DMark05 as opposed to the 5424 I have posted before...
