I did amend both of the settings, the first coming under [NVIDIA.Mfg] the second under ; Localizable Strings, with the same result. I have used your ini as well for good measure and the same result occurs.
I believe that a fresh install is warranted, which wouldnt be too difficult at this point in time as I have a small unused hard drive I can use.
At least I will know, perhaps old nvidia bits and bobs left in from previous installations may be a factor, will try to remove the offending items if there are any.
