GeForce GTX 280 card and GPU voltage tweaks with NiBiTor? - 2008/07/04 15:45 Hello, I intend to buy a GeForce GTX 280 in a few weeks. Will we be able to modify the GPU voltage with NiBiTor? Indeed, it seems that the voltage regulator is the same brand found on the ATI cards and these ones can have their GPU voltage modified by software, BIOS flash or ATITool. Thanks.

Re:GeForce GTX 280 card and GPU voltage tweaks with NiBiTor? - 2008/07/04 18:35 Yes of course, bit you must know that the actual gaming state of the card already runs at the highest possible voltage and when going down to low level 3D and 2D that the voltage level goes down. So on that part the card is doing the dynamic voltage regulation already...

We have seen some guys sending us tweaked BIOS's and I do hope they come on our forums to explain as their tweaks don't do anything except re-labelling the actual voltage number but it has no impact at all as it is just a label and doesn't represent the actual voltage...
