Well first I want to clear something up as you state a Super Sonic version? As far as I know and have checked the XpertVision product range, it is either the Super or the Sonic version that you can have of the GeForce 8800 GT. There is no Super Sonic, it is either the Sonic or the Super version that you got... And I think you got the Sonic version as the Super version only comes with 1GB of memory.
So normally the design shouldn't really matter, ans as long as the two cards can work with the same BIOS it should work fine in SLI config. You will just have to check if the EVGA can work with the Sonic BIOS or if the XpertVision can work with the EVGA BIOS... Either way should work somehow and then also SLI should be no problem at all.
