We are disappointed. And yes not because we did loose interest, but because you lost interest! Many do come and download the tool, and many more even download it via other websites. Also several persons raised things to change or to support, which we always took into account. But really showing no appreciation for all the time and effort put in the development is just nuts. For now those who did contribute will get the new version on Christmas.

Gainward has released a high-end overclockable graphics card based on AMD's RV770 chipset, their Radeon HD 4870 X2 series. And this is probably the most expensive and powerful graphics card you can buy right now since it offers 1600 stream processors and has 2GB of GDDR5 memory on board. The Radeon HD 4870 X2 graphics card features dual TeraScale graphics engines that work in tandem to deliver high frame rates, putting the power of graphics supercomputing in the hands of extreme gamers. The card also dynamically conserves energy at idle or when demand is low. The CrossFireX technology with quad GPU support offers even more processing power for demanding gamers. - CDRInfo Gainward Rampage 700 2GB Golden Version Preview |

HIS have been growing from strength to strength over these past few months, especially in Europe. While having already established a strong foothold in Asia and America over the past several years, it's only natural for them to expand its business in to Europe. However, they do face heavy competition from players like Sapphire and some of the mainboard manufacturers, who also make ATI video cards. Other brands like XFX, EVGA, BFG who produce NVIDIA based graphics cards are also hot competitors. So as you can see already it's a very competitive market, but what does HIS got that others don't? Cause in the end it just comes down what added value do you bring that the competition doesn't? - CPU3D HIS Radeon HD 4870 IceQ4+ 1GB Turbo Card Preview |

The AMD Radeon HD 4830 is a graphics card that simply fills the gap between the Radeon HD 4850 and Radeon HD 4670 and if you take a look at the price to performance ratio, you will clearly see that it's a good deal. The card was initally priced a bit high and it cost almost like a Radeon HD 4850, but the price went down and you can find it now at about $125. The deal gets even sweeter when you take into account that you can comfortably play all the popular games. One of the best Radeon HD 4830 cards is MSI's OverClock edition, which we will test today. Compared to reference Radeon HD 4830 cards, it has a couple of aces up its sleeve, such as 4+1 power phase and MSI's dual slot cooling. - FudZilla MSI Radeon HD 4830 OverClock Series Board Review |

Even though Gainward has been doing ATI based graphics cards for a while now, it still feels weird having a Gainward graphics card in our test system followed by installing the Catalyst driver suite. Today we're looking at a Radeon HD 4870 X2 card from Gainward which carries those two words we love to see, Golden and Sample. What has Gainward done to make it so special? Gainward actually has two Radeon HD 4870 X2's Golden Sample currently available. The first is the one we have today which carries with it a slight overclock and the other is the Goes Like Hell edition which carries an even higher overclock. Let's firstly have a look at what exactly we have going on with the package. - TweakTown Gainward Rampage 700 Golden Sample Style Review |

ATI's first 40nm cards are taped out and we can confirm that the cards are up and running. These are still pre-production silicons that go out usually before the final production one, and our sources confirm that the card is in good shape. This is a transitional product and it will help ATI to get easier from 55nm to 40nm and we learned that it should end up faster than the RV770 powering the Radeon HD 4850 card, though its job is to compete with NVIDIA's GeForce 9600 GT, and it will completely leave it in the dust. The board does use GDDR5 from troubled Quimonda, and ATI is playing with it at 3600MHz. And we still believe that it has a 256-bit memory interface, so it looks like a poweful combination. - FudZilla First 40nm GPU Taped Out Being ATI's RV740 Chipset |

Sources close to NVIDIA have confirmed that there will be a GeForce GTX 285, a faster 55nm based GeForce GTX 280 card with slightly higher clock and they even went out and said that it will be available in January. And yes January is also the time for real availability of the GeForce GTX 260 cards at 55nm, but in all fairness, you might be lucky enough to get some of these cards in Europe or Japan before the end of this year. Cause since yesterday EVGA has already supplied retails stores with some batches of their 55nm based cards, which are for sell at this moment. Though stock might be low for now, if you find one just go for it as these will give some nice overclocking headroom. - FudZilla NVIDIA Confirms 55nm Based GeForce GTX 285 Card! |

It is always good to start with the good news and that is that the new version of NiBiTor is actually ready which is adding support for about 7-8 graphics cards which didn't get correct recognized in the current version. Though this time we would also like to see your involvement and that is to raise some development funding as this program is becoming quite intensive and we see a very wide usage but too less support and appreciation, and high demands.

It's been a while since we've seen anything from HIS and now was really as good a time as any to see what the company has been up to with the Radeon HD 4800 series from ATI becoming such a popular line-up. Today we're looking at not one, but two HIS Radeon HD 4850 cards, but in true HIS style they carry the impressive IceQ cooling solution. So what we will do first is have a look at what's going on with the cards and see how the IceQ4 cooler looks. From there we will test the cards individually and also in CrossFire form. What's also exciting about this round of testing is it's the first time we will be able to try CrossFire out on our new X58 testbed. Fingers crossed we don't run into any troubles! - TweakTown HIS Radeon HD 4850 IceQ4 TurboX CrossFire Preview |

As many probably know already, vendors are not supposed to market their very new 55nm GeForce GTX 260 boards in any way which will make it possible to distinguish them from 65nm cards, at least not until NVIDIA gets rid of the old ones. So, don't expect their partners to wave a giant flag with 55nm on it, NVIDIA won't stand for it. However you can always count on price search engines and their industrious and meticulous staff to do it for them. So the card ends up listed with 55nm in its name, and the GPU is designated as the GT200b. EVGA has informed us that they will be the first with the GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 cards based on the 55nm chips in various versions, at least in Europe. - FudZilla First 55nm GT200b Based GeForce GTX 260 Available |

We really do love the launch of a new ATI based graphics card, because as soon as it's released we're on the back of Sapphire asking when an Atomic and Toxic version of the card is coming. Unlike a lot of companies who bump the core and memory up 25MHz, turn around and say overclocked, when Sapphire overclocks they do it properly. The Radeon HD 4870 X2 Atomic is different, though the card really steps out of the square, even for Sapphire. It's not like anything we've seen from them before and that's in the good way. Attention to detail on this card is nothing short of fantastic and we have to honestly say that when the card was delivered we half expected it to be hand cuffed to the courier. - TweakTown Sapphire Atomic HD 4870 X2 Water Cool Card Review |

We just love water cooling. It's that badge of honour that shows you are a true enthusiast that you're not going to let the threat of a few leaks and kinked tubing stop you from reaching those ever elusive higher clock speeds. However, entry to the water coolers club means building a water cooling loop, which is traditionally a very daunting task the first time. Cutting hoses to the right length, clamping jubilee clips and then the nerve shredding process of filling your loop and praying to the digital gods that you don't spring a leak. Now well, the building your first successful water cooling loop provides an enormous feeling of accomplishment, and a bit of experience goes a long way to reach that goal. - Bit-Tech Sapphire Radeon HD 4870 X2 Atomic Bi-GPU Preview |

We have all more than likely seen or heard about the Radeon HD 4850 video card that ATI and Sapphire released so they would have a decent video card in the sub-$150 region for those people that could not swing the money to purchase a single Radeon HD 4870. The Radeon HD 4850 card offered a very viable option for those that wanted a card where they could play a large number of the current games available albeit at reduced resolution and also a card that would be ideal for their home theater PC. Today all video cards including the cheaper ones be it ATI or NVIDIA have the capability to handle decoding of Blu-ray quality without a hitch, making the Radeon HD 4850 the perfect card. - Hi-Tech Reviews Sapphire Radeon HD 4850 X2 2GB Dual Cores Review |

On Thursday December 18th NVIDIA announced the up and coming release of a new hybrid GPU, the GeForce GTX 295 card. The GeForce GTX 295 is poised to replace the ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2 as the fastest GPU on the planet when it releases shortly after the first day of the year. The photos supplied to us of the GeForce GTX 295 are of an NVIDIA reference design. It's almost two GeForce GTX 260's in one pack, by almost we mean it is a hybrid GPU that has most of the features of a dual GeForce GTX 260 card, but has some improvements that resemble the GeForce GTX 280 edition. And as far as NVIDIA is concerned this GeForce GTX 295 will reclaim the performance crown with ease. - Bjorn3D NVIDIA GeForce GTX 295 Dual GT200 Design Preview |

Back in Radeon HD 3870 times Sapphire released a special overclocked edition of the Radeon HD 3870 X2 called Atomic. Now the Atomic is back and has been updated to the Radeon HD 4870 X2 series. The card comes with a pre-filled water cooling kit that also includes a CPU water block, which is a novelty. Asetek is the manufacturer of the water cooling components. Also included in the package is a larger software bundle, loads of cables and everything else you could just imagine. Not only the package has been improved, the clocks have been bumped up as well making the Sapphire Radeon HD 4870 X2 Atomic the fastest ATI card on the market, but also one of the most quiet around. - techPowerUp Sapphire Radeon HD 4870 X2 Atomic Refined Review |

We have learned that NVIDIA has tens of thousands GeForce GTX 260 cards and this is the main reason why it doesn't want to re-launch the GeForce GTX 260 with a rebranding of GeForce GTX 265 and increase the clock speeds. And a few independent sources have said that NVIDIA strictly said that they are not allowed to announce that the cards they are shipping have the 55nm GT200b core and if they do such a thing, there might be some consequences. This card with a new driver is looking like a better choice than the Radeon HD 4870 but NVIDIA still has quite a few 65nm ones to sell. But our guess would be that the big partners might get the 55nm version a bit sooner once they run out of stock. - FudZilla NVIDIA Still Has Many GeForce GTX 260 65nm Boards |

Sapphire is a manufacturer of ATI based graphics cards that is known for their special designs. Many of their products are nothing like the reference designs from ATI, featuring unique PCB's, cooling solutions, clock speeds, and harwdare configurations. The item provided for this article takes all of the potential changes listed above and applies them to one of the top graphics cards. What we have here is a custom PCB sporting a pair of overclocked Radeon HD 4870 GPU's, 2GB of overclocked GDDR5 memory and a custom liquid cooling circuit that keeps the card to a single slot solution. The Atomic series from Sapphire are those that come always highly overclocked but with quiet cooling. - BigBruin Sapphire Atomic HD 4870 X2 2GB Video Style Review |

While the graphics card team over at AMD might have the higher end of their market sorted out, you have to wonder how they're going in the lower and the mid-range market. Today we take the time to look at one of the main mid-range cards from AMD, the Radeon HD 4670. In our usual style we're not just looking at any old Radeon HD 4670, we're looking at the Super version from Palit which carries with it some extra memory, a bump in clock speeds and other handy features. So with that said and done, let's take the time to have a quick look at the package and a closer look at the card before we see exactly how this mid-range card performs, which should be better than reference. - TweakTown Palit Radeon HD 4670 Super 512MB Graphics Preview |

Since this spring, the performance crown has been in the hands of dual chip cards. Last time around ATI managed to steal the performance crown with its dual RV770 55nm card and the time has come for NVIDIA to counter ATI with its dual card. NVIDIA believed that a single monolithic GT200 65nm chip should be enough to beat the Radeon HD 4870 X2 and this time around, NVIDIA was very wrong. The dual GT200 card was not planned at the beginning, but it was kept as a last resort option, it took NVIDIA some six month to finish development of this card. The video card that we got for a preview today is the answer and it is called GeForce GTX 295, and is especially designed to strike back. - FudZilla NVIDIA GeForce GTX 295 Bi-GT200 Graphics Preview |

Just a few short months ago, both ATI and Sapphire shocked the world with the explosive performance of the Radeon HD 4870 X2. Now six months later, and this card still stands uncontested as the fastest single card on the market. So what do you do if you are Sapphire? You try to make the fastest even faster. Which brings us to today's spotlight at the club. Sapphire has unveiled their brand new limited edition, factory overclocked version of the Radeon HD 4870 X2, known as the Atomic edition. This isn't your typical factory overclocked edition video card, however, as Sapphire has really upped the ante with extra features in this bundle. So what makes the Atomic edition stand out from the pack? - Club Overclocker Sapphire Radeon HD 4870 X2 Atomic Version Review |

NVIDIA has three new cards. The first one is 55nm version of the GeForce GTX 260, which will keep the same brand, the second is the dual GT200b 55nm branded GeForce GTX 295 and the last one is the faster GT200b single 55nm chip based GeForce GTX 285. Samples of the GeForce GTX 285 should be out and about at CES, while we are keep hearing that the card will be launched in mid January, at least officially. The new GeForce GTX 285 should be clocked at 648MHz core, 1476MHz shaders and 2484MHz memory. It still has 240 shaders with 32 raster units, but this time around the cards thermal design power is 183W, while the GeForce GTX 280 had 236W, with a 602MHz core. - FudZilla NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285 Showing At CES Tradeshow |

Yeah, it's unexpected preview time ladies and gentlemen. It's been a while since ATI introduced their Radeon 4870 X2 graphics card, and well NVIDIA just didn't have a product around to counteract that steamy X2. Today is the day that we can lift up a big chunk of mystery that you guys have heard about in the rumor channel for a while now. It's the GeForce GTX 295. As usual, the rumors were pretty accurate. The GeForce GTX 295 will be an all new dual GPU graphics card from NVIDIA based on the 55nm GT200 derivatives. With that knowledge in mind, today we'll present you a fairly deep preview of what's to come. And NVIDIA will launch new 55nm parts at CES 2009 in Las Vegas, January 8th. - Guru3D NVIDIA GeForce GTX 295 Dual-GPU Graphics Preview |

As already mentioned previously NVIDIA will quietly start shipping GT200b chips, the 55nm chip for the new GeForce GTX 260 card and the new 55nm chip will be clocked at the identical speeds as the 65nm predecessor. Naturally the 55nm chip will have a better termal design power, and will need less power and power components. The new 55nm GeForce GTX 260 will have less power components and it will come on a PCB with less layers, simply as you don't need so many power lanes, to make it work. We just learned that this new 55nm version of the GeForce GTX 260 should be visually different, and not to mention that it will run cooler which is all the better for us being gamers or overclockers. - FudZilla GeForce GTX 260 55nm Version Might Look Different! |

Powercolor is a company well known for non reference ATI cards. Today, we are lucky to bring you just an article on PowerColor's Radeon HD 4870 water cooled card, also knows as the LCS edition. We're saying lucky because only 200 units will be launched, and as such it is surely a treat. Due to being a limited edition, PowerColor not only came with a custom cooling solution, jumping into the water though also increased both the core and memory clock speed to make this the fastest Radeon HD 4870 graphics accelerator. And in short that was the main purpose behind the LCS version, which they did achive easily by opting for a custom liquid cooling solution and some minor overclocking. - FudZilla PowerColor Radeon HD 4870 Limited Version Review |
