Another LeadTek WinFast A400 Ultra TDH/Leadtek WinFast A400 GT TDH review has been published on Beyond3D. The last generation of GPUs from nVidia and ATI saw a change in the way many AIB partners did business in the video card sector - Many major players switched from supplying boards from only a single vendor to utilising GPUs from both of the major players.

ATI still thas to launch its response to NV44 AGP. NV44 AGP is bridged version of nVidia's NV44 a native PCIe card. It will be launched in Q4 2004. ATI's RV351 is its last AGP chip and from RV351 on ATI will bridge its PCI-E with RIALTO bridge chip as long there is a demand for AGP cards.

OCModShop has published a review on the Albatron GeForce PCX5750. With the emergence of Intel's 915 and 925 chipset which introduced PCI-Express there is now a need for new video cards. The GeForce PCX GPUs will deliver better graphics and more vibrant digital media to PC consumers through the additional bandwidth and features offered by Intel's new PCI Express bus architecture. Since the GPU has the largest bandwidth demand of all the PC subsystems, nVidia has been a key contributor to the joint definition, development, and deployment of PCI Express solutions.

HardOCP has send word about their preview on the nVidia GeForce 6200. When nVidia launched their next generation NV40 GPU back in April they talked a lot about parallelism and scalability. They made sure it was known that this new architecture was capable of scaling in such a way that they could still offer every single feature of the high-end enthusiast level and bring those features all the way down to the entry-level market and price point that OEMs love best.

Legion hardware has put a great article about CPU vs. Graphics Card. When building a computer it is important that all the hardware is relative to one another. There is little point in building a gaming machine that has a monster processor with a graphics card capable of only producing slide shows at 1280x1024. Of course the same can be said when purchasing a graphics card that will be overkill for the processor.

Huang's rallying speech for nVidia claimed that they would have a top to bottom lineup of NV4x derived parts by the end of the year and the announcement of the GeForce 6200 validates that statement as nVidia will have parts in each segment
of the market from the value oriented 6200s, midrange 6600s , and enthusiast 6800 series.

And also Guru3D has published a little preview on the nVidia GeForce 6200
graphics chip. As you probably expected this new product range is of course based on the new GeForce 6 Series architecture, yet at entry-level price points.
This is actually the 3rd product line to be derived from Series 6. Based on that knowledge, I specifically say the product will be severely "castrated" to place
it into different wording. The series 6200 will only have 4 pixel pipelines with 3 vertex units.

The Tech Report has just published a review on the nVidia GeForce 6200 Reference card. When nVidia first announced the GeForce 6800 series, the company boasted that its new graphics architecture would scale down to mid-range and value markets by the end of the year. GeForce 6 trickle-down has already spawned the GeForce 6600 series, whose performance and feature set are a revelation for the mid-range market. Today, nVidia extends the GeForce 6 series even further into the value segment with the GeForce 6200. This four-pipe GeForce 6 brings Shader Model 3.0 support to graphics cards in and around the $129 mark, giving cash-strapped gamers an intriguing new low-end option.
